In addition to teaching vocabulary and grammar, our teachers also focus on meaningful daily topics that are aligned with our students interests, everyday lives, and careers. Part of our mission is to give students accurate and efficient language tools in every class that can be applied in real-life scenarios, and will help them achieve their fluency goals faster.
Yes. Our curriculum is composed of different types of activities and resources that cover all language skills: speaking, listening, conversational skills, vocabulary and grammar, reading, and writing. In this way you’ll start building your confidence so you can express without any fear in different situations using simple and complex sentence structures, and more importantly understand native-speakers all around the world.
As a Diglosia student, you will receive the material for every class for free and you can use them at any time. All of our materials and resources are designed and made by our team of experts and are aligned to the CEFR.
We understand that learning any language is more than following a curriculum and completing exercises. That’s why we are pleased to count with a group of qualified teachers that are Spanish native-speakers and will help you in all the stages of your learning journey. More than a hobby, teaching is their passion and career.
With Diglosia, you can have access to our teacher’s introductory videos so you can learn a bit about them and see who might be a better choice for you. Also, you can change teachers after your first week with them until you find the one you like the most.
After choosing the plan that works better for your needs, you schedule your classes with one of our teachers at the most convenient time for you. During class the teacher will introduce themselves and give you a short introduction to the topic you’ll be covering that day. Then the class will begin with the material that will be sent to you after the class. Towards the end, your teacher will recap all the lesson and make sure that you understood it.
Of course! Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, that’s the best way to learn. The beauty of having classes with Spanish native-speakers as your teachers is that they will help you in every aspect of your learning journey. They will make sure that you understand the different ways of pronouncing certain words and/or expressions as well as the correct contexts of use. This way you’ll have a better understanding of the language.
Yes. Diglosia offers courses that are specially designed for students of all levels: beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Moreover, you can discuss with your teacher the specific content and vocabulary you want to see in class! If you don’t know your language level (A1 for beginners to C2 to fluent/native) you can take our free placement test before you begin your learning journey.
Our classes are available 24/7 and we count with teachers that can accommodate whatever schedule is best for you. Take your classes anywhere and at any time.
The key difference between learning Spanish with Diglosia in comparison to a traditional school is the possibility of arranging your schedule the way you want. You can learn anywhere and at any time that suits your busy everyday schedule. However, Diglosia works as a traditional school but online: our teachers are native-speakers, qualified, and follow an approved curriculum for the classes.
No, Diglosia is not an app but an online Spanish school. And as any school, we offer live classes with qualified native-speaker teachers because we believe that nothing can replace a face-to-face interaction and feedback from a real person.
Not necessarily. Although we believe in the power and benefits of discipline that comes with committing to do things in a fixed schedule, you can have your classes at different times according to your schedule and availability of our teachers.
You can see a sample of our classes here.
Preparing to learn with us is simple. You just need three things: a computer, good and stable internet connection, and the conferencing tool Zoom installed in your computer.
First, you have to register as a student on our platform, select the best course according to your level and schedule your classes for your availability.
As with learning any skill, your progress will depend on your efforts. If you want to learn Spanish fast you’ll have to make studying an everyday habit. Also, make sure that you pay very close attention in class and when doing your exercises, take notes of the things you don’t quite understand so you can have a check up with your teacher on your next class. Moreover, choose the plan that best works for you, some are slow-to-normal paced while others are more intense, so choose wisely.
We are currently working on our partnership with a very prestigious Latin American university to give you a certificate of completion after you finish each level of Spanish. Wait for it!
You can have a free class to try us out! Before choosing any of our Spanish plans, you can book a free trial class and see for yourself the Diglosia experience.
You can book a free trial using your email address to contact our team, then you can select the best possible date and time for you to have it. After your free trial class ends, you can decide whether you are going to buy one of our plans and start your Spanish learning journey!
Yes. If your current teacher doesn’t meet your expectations or is not aligned with you, you can request a teacher change by sending us an email at info@diglosia.es
Yes, we have a 100% money back guarantee before 14 days of your purchase have passed. After those 14 days you might only receive what is left of the time of your plan since we have to pay our teachers for the hours scheduled with you even if you cannot attend your classes.
If there is something you are concerned about or have more questions please contact us at any time by writing us on info@diglosia.es
At the beginning of your registration, and after you choose your plan, you will choose the best dates and times you have available to book your classes. If they are all on the same time and on the same days each week, you’ll receive a notification to your email account from your assigned or chosen teacher to confirm your schedule with you. However, if they are on different times, some days before your scheduled class you’ll receive a notification from your assigned teacher to remind you of it.
At Diglosia, we understand that sometimes unexpected issues arise that need to be solved ASAP. That’s why we allow you to cancel a class at any time, even before your class starts. In that case, however, bear in mind that your credit for that class cannot be refunded.
If there is no prior notice from the student allowing last minute cancellation of a class, it will be taken as a class seen and may not be made up.
We recommend you to check your internet connection, audio and video settings at least 10 min before your class starts. Make sure you are in a quiet and illuminated space to help you concentrate. You can also make a review of the content seen in the previous class to refresh your memory and have a glass of water near you to refresh yourself as you will be talking and having lots of fun!
Diglosia provides all the material you will need for your class and they will be shared to you for free to be downloaded in a Google Drive folder with your name. You won’t need to buy any textbooks or other material.
You can rate the teachers, the class material and overall technology used by giving us your opinion and your review on the Trustpilot site.
